Powers:
- Bombs: Cyrax can emit two round, spiked balls from his chest. These bombs will then attach themselves to a solid surface and explode.
- Nanobots: Cyrax can fire a stream of nanobots from his chest. These nanobots can eat away the skin and bones of living things, but have no affect on metallic objects.

History: As Shao Kahn hunted down Earth's warriors, Cyrax and a group of soldiers came across Sonya Blade and Jax. The cybernetic weapon attacked Jax whom on a missing punch, got his robotic hand stuck in the cement wall. Cyrax then turned his attention to Sonya and fired off his nanobots. The female fighter dodged and pushed one of the ninja like warriors into the swarm, reducing him to nothing. Sonya then managed to help Jax free himself just in time for him to deflect the second stream of nanobots with his cybernetic hand. Sonya leaped over her partner's shoulder and gripped Cyrax by the shoulder, flipping the machine over and sending him flying into the wall. As fires erupted around the robot as it stood back up, Sonya grabbed a bunch of white powder of the lab's floor, and then blew it into the fire, a fireball erupting, destroying the machine. As the pair looked at their conquered foe, the dragon's imprint came to life and flew off, revealing a bomb. The resulting explosion demolished the complex just as the two escaped.
