Legion
Height: 459 feet Length: Not Available Mass: 600 tons
Flight Speed: Mach 1 Running Speed: Moderate Burrowing Speed: Fast
Powers: - Electro Magnetic Beam: Legion can fire a powerful electro magnetic (EM) beam that can short out electronics and form massive explosions that will leave massive craters in the ground when she parts her horn. - Energy Whips: If Legion's horn is removed, she can fire red energy whips that can impale and whip the enemy from the stump that is left. - Spear Legs: Legion's legs can be used like giant spears to impale an enemy. - Symbiotic Legions: Legion can produce 100 Symbiotic Legions an hour. She can then open her chest plate and release the swarm on an enemy or to build a nest. - EM Shield: Legion can form an electro magnetic shield with her side arms. This shield is extremely effective against electronics, short circuiting wires, but can also be used to shield her body from energy attacks.
Weaknesses: If her shield arms are somehow damaged or removed, her shield will become weaker.
First Appearance: Gamera 2: Attack of Legion (1997)

History: Arriving on Earth in a massive meteor, Legion created a nest in Sendai where it hoped to spread her species into the depths of space. Before the pod could be fired into space, Gamera attacked the alien seed, destroying it, and in response the Symbiotic Legion attacked it, forcing the massive turtle to retreat. After the damage was done, the huge Legion burst from the ground, flying by the means of her massive wings. As the monster escaped over the ocean, two missiles hit her beck, removing both wings and the insect creature plummeted into the sea.
Days later, Legion and her swarm began to construct a new pod in the city of Sendai. Once again, Gamera flew into attack the massive threat, but just as he flew in, massive legs burst from the ground, slamming into Gamera. The form of the queen Legion rose from the ground and held the mighty turtle off. Gamera managed to hold Legion off long enough for the last helicopter of survivors to escape, but when Legion unleashed her powerful EM blast, not even Gamera's powers could protect him. As the turtle laid still in a sea of fire, Legion dove into the ground, her seed now preparing to fire.
After the successful launch, Legion burst from the ground near Tokyo. The self defense force weapons proved useless against the queen, and a single EM blast destroyed nearly everything in her path, and to make matters worse, the huge insect released her swarm on the defending battle units. As Legion advanced into the city, Gamera once again challenged the huge monster.
As the battle between the Earth monster and space monster once again clashed, the humans, for the first time, took a firm stand on the side of Gamera and attacked the Legion, blowing off several side horns. When she tried to call back her swarm, the Symbiotic Legions were attracted elsewhere by electric conductors and were rightfully destroyed by missiles. With the battle made even, Gamera managed to rip off Legion's central horn, but the turtle's victory cry was quickly cut short.
Legion rose up, her eyes burning red in anger. Several long whips of energy fired out of the stump, whipping and impaling the guardian several times. As the two moved about, both reeling in pain, Gamera managed to escape the insect's grasp and began to charge the mana ray. Legion bellowed out as the super powerful beam of energy struck her body, and within seconds, her form was reduced to ash.

Powers: - Silicon Break Down: The Symbiotic Legions are capable of breaking down silicon in order to produce 100% pure oxygen. - Claws: The Symbiotic Legions are equipped with sharp, claw like appendages that they can use to impale foes.
Weaknesses: The Soldier Legion are attracted to certain radio waves and silicon.

History: Coming to Earth aboard a massive meteor, the Symbiotic Legion quickly began to move toward the largest source of electromagnetic waves in the worlds: Tokyo. As the creatures moved, they began to raid any silicon source they could fine, from glass beer bottles to silicon fiber wires. Soon, the creatures hit their first city and began to construct a nest in the subway system. The crab like monsters attacked a subway train, killing everyone that had any electrical device that broad casted or received any radio signal.
As pod expanded from the roof of the building, a squad of soldiers entered the tunnels in order to help the survivors. Bombs were set up around the massive pod and ignited, clearing way for the soldiers to enter the subway completely, but before a total assault against the space creatures could begin, Gamera arrived to demolish the alien seed, but in response, millions of Symbiotic Legion swarmed the massive reptile, covering it from head to tail. The guardian lifted into the air, its green blood spraying across the buildings before finally crashing into the water, drowning the insects.
Days after the destruction of the first pod, Legion and her pod created a new in the city of Sendai. While the pod was launched, the Symbiotic Legions stayed away from the blast, possibly following their queen as it escaped beneath the ground. After the first launch of a pod, Legion entered the Tokyo area, and as a massive line of weapons was placed to greet it. In response, the queen released her massive swarm from her chest, and the air borne creatures began an attack in the skies.
When Gamera challenged the mighty insect, Legion called back her swarm, but one of the near by conductors was activated and the swarm, like moths to a fire, were drawn. The thousands of Symbiotic Legion crawled on the transformers until a unit of helicopters destroyed the entire swarm with a flurry of rockets.
Powers: - Explode: The Legion Pod can explode with the force of a nuclear explosion with a radius of five miles. - Oxygen: The Legion Pod emits 100% pure Oxygen that can make it extremely difficult to breath around.

History: Created by the Symbiotic Legion, the massive Legion Pod burst from the roof of one of the city's buildings. With the Symbiotic Legion protecting the plant, it was near impossible to completely destroy it. Hours passed as oxygen levels rose and the plant began preparations to launch a seed into space, but as a final assault against the plant was put in affect, the massive Gamera flew into the city. The shelled creature fired two plasma fire balls, the deadly attacks completely destroying the Legion Pod.
Days after the destruction of the first, a second was constructed in the city of Sendai. Like the first time, Gamera flew in to destroy it, but now knowing her enemy, Legion attacked the reptilian defender. As the insect and turtle drew battle, the pod prepared to fire, and after Gamera was rendered unconscious for several minutes, Legion and her swarm escaped. When Gamera rose up, he tried to knock down the second pod, but it was unavoidable. The pod exploded with that of a nuclear bomb, the blast turning the once beautiful city into a crater and nearly killing Gamera.
