History: Godzilla was at first, the main and true enemy of Japan for years, but for an unknown reason headed toward Alaska where it rose from the water and attacked. The creature attacked an oil refinery and then headed for another town, but the S.H.I.E.L.D team had something waiting for him, a new type of laser weapon. The beam of pure energy impacted on the mutation but failed to truly hurt him, it fed his rage and the monster returned to the sea, but was now on route to Seattle. Within hours, the creature rose again, but this time, S.H.I.E.L.D was ready and attacked with every weapon they could muster. They devised a new plan to send Godzilla over the cliff into the water by using flairs and a new type of weapon that fired off gigantic blocks. The monster was lured to the edge by flairs and then the blocks were fired and the king of the monsters was sent over the edge, into the waters below. Godzilla proved he wasn't defeated, and appeared next at San Francisco. But as the kaiju was about to destroy the metropolis, a team of super-powered humans appeared to challenge him. The Champions were called in and attacked, but not even their own strength could put down Godzilla's. The leviathan was made to retreat back into the sea, but it wasn't the last time the world would hear of him.

When Godzilla was at sea, he found another giant creature. Batragon was attacking an oil tanker at sea, and Godzilla couldn't resist a fight. The monsters were dug into combat, but in the midst of combat, Batragon was called back to Dr. Demonicus' lab. Godzilla would not let this monster escape and landed on Demonicus' island where he once again found Batragon. This time though, Godzilla showed no mercy and quickly defeated the beast. As S.H.I.E.L.D buzzed around the island, Dr. Demonicus released three more of his own gigantic creations, Ghilaron, Centipor, and Lepirax were sent out and given the orders to attack all. The giant centipede Centipor was quickly vanquished by Godzilla's flames and Ghilaron followed by Godzilla's superior strength. The last of the giant creatures was Lepirax, a giant moth like creature who was chasing the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicopters. Seeing the gigantic insect, Godzilla realized he had to defeat this one also, and quickly reduced it to ash with his atomic fire.

Godzilla soon found rest inside a cave, but S.H.I.E.L.D needed to keep this creature free from civilization. Godzilla was lured outside and then tranquilized and loaded onto a huge flying cargo ship named Behemoth. Godzilla was flown to San Diego but after arriving, the monster quickly awoken. As the monster became violent again, a young boy named Rob entered the giant robot named Red Ronin and headed toward Godzilla where an explosive fight was imminent. Godzilla and Red Ronin were about to do battle in a giant rocket field, but Rob convinced Godzilla to leave the area, keeping the place free from the hands of Godzilla. The monster advanced for days and finally came in contact with something, the Boulder Dam. The monster slammed through the dam, but the raging waters dragged Godzilla for miles and finally let him off at the desert oasis known as Las Vegas. The combination of Godzilla and the raging waters was to much, and the city was demolished in minutes, leaving Godzilla to go on his long voyage once more.

Godzilla soon entered the Grand Canyon where he was met by a new foe known as Yetrigar. The huge reptile and gigantic mammal battled in the canyon and soon, one more warrior entered the fray, a warrior by the name of Red Ronin. The huge robot tried to break the two fighters up, but it was all in vein and Yetrigar was covered in an avalanche of rocks and boulders by Red Ronin. This then allowed for the monster king to leave the area once again and escape S.H.I.E.L.D.

After the fight against Yetrigar and Red Ronin, an alien race kidnapped the leviathan and brought him to the moon. There they tested him against the Beta-Beast, to see his strength, and to see if he could defeat the Megan race, and save their own. The Beta-Beast put up a fight, but Godzilla in the end, reduced it to ash with his atomic ray. After defeating the creature, Godzilla was sent down, to help defeat the Megan war monsters and aid Red Ronin in combat. Godzilla arrived and had attacked already, saving Red Ronin from Triax. As Godzilla and Red Ronin fought Triax, the other two mega monsters arrived, Rhiahn and Krollar. As Godzilla fought off Triax and Krollar, Rhiahn had gained the upper hand on Red Ronin and managed to cut its head off with its huge blade. S.H.I.E.L.D helped in the fight as Godzilla vanquished Krollar first. In response, Triax again attacked, but Godzilla fired his flames they and entered the body of Triax through his mouth, burning him from the inside out and defeating him. The last kaiju, Rhiahn was at this point, chasing S.H.I.E.L.D helicopters, but as one was about to be destroyed, Godzilla caught it and placed it down. Rhiahn attacked, but Godzilla managed to defeat the space creature by grabbing its own blade and using it to cut off its own head.

After the fight against the space kaiju, Godzilla roamed the plains of America, fending off brave cowboys and trampling towns into dust. As the monster traveled the west, S.H.I.E.L.D used a shrinking gas on him. The gas worked and Godzilla was captured and was now on route to New York City. As Godzilla was being carried in a cage down the stairs of the Helicarrier, the man carrying him tripped, and Godzilla's cage splashed into the waters of the Hudson River and the monster was free once more...just the size of a rat this time. Rob found Godzilla, but the nuclear creature was beginning to grow. The gas was wearing off and Rob needed to get Godzilla back to carrier. They managed to get there with a few minor troubles, but the S.H.I.E.L.D members tried to capture him, and the creature managed to escape once more. Godzilla was now twenty feet tall, and the members of S.H.I.E.L.D led him to the museum with help from the Fantastic Four, but trouble occurred and The Thing and Godzilla got into a fight. Godzilla was eventually dumped into a shark tank when knocked out by The Thing. Luckily, the saved the monster but now the question was what to do with Godzilla, the gas was wearing off and the creature wouldn't remain out for long. The answer was to use Dr. Doom's own time machine to send the mutant back in time.

The plan worked and Godzilla was sent back in time to the age of the dinosaurs and he soon met another like him, one by the name of Devil Dinosaur. At first, Godzilla and Devil Dinosaur fought, but soon had to join forces against an invading army that used dinosaurs as weapons. They were stronger then the army, but their numbers proved to much and Godzilla and Devil Dinosaur were forced to retreat. Moon Boy, the friend of Devil Dinosaur set up a trap up a head with some ancient pits. Godzilla and the Devil Dinosaur lured the attackers near where they would fall in them and then be defeated. Just as the battle was over, Godzilla regrew to his complete size. Also, do to the radiation from his body affecting the time machine, Godzilla was teleported back to New York City.

Now, nothing could stop him from destroying the city. The carrier used all its weapons and several super heroes tried to slow him down and make him retreat back to the ocean, but Godzilla was blinded with rage. He annihilated everything and anything that got in his way until Rob managed to get on the deck of the carrier. Godzilla recognized him and lifted him up and spoke to Godzilla, telling him to return to the sea and never come near civilization again. Godzilla knew what he meant, and did so, leaving a devastated America behind him.
