History: Nuclear Testing, done by a group of scientists under military observation, awoke a great beast from it's centuries long slumber, in the vicinities of Russia. Having mistook these actions to be those of a nearby village, Grogg attacked the innocent peasants. This was stopped when it learned (from one of those villagers) that it was in fact the group of scientists who had dared to disturb him. While it did take a while to finally find the sole person responsible for the tests, Grogg eventually managed to get his hands on the darned fool and apparently went back to slumbering.
Grogg would again menace the world of man numerous times, and go on various (mis)adventures as well in his long history. Tussling with many of a costumed hero, including the Hulk, the Thing, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Beast and Giant Man.
Has currently been deputized and indoctrinated into the current version of Nick Fury's Howling Commandos group, along with various other monsters, serving as troop transportation.
