History: Emerging from Mt. Fuji in a series of explosions, and inside a massive rock, MechaGodzilla, in his Fake Godzilla disguise, began to rampage through the country side. The massive monster demolished buildings before being confronted by the spiked dinosaur known as Anguirus. The horned saurian attacked the Fake Godzilla, ripping off a piece of its rubbery hide from its arm, and exposing the true space titanium beneath it. Fake Godzilla was quick to react, and began to annihilate the dinosaur in a matter of seconds. Despite its daring attack against the monster, MechaGodzilla gripped the dinosaur's jaws and began to pry them apart, eventually snapping them, and the defending monster was forced to retreat underground.
Fake Godzilla continued his rampage of destruction through Japan, and eventually reached a large oil refinery. As the Fake Godzilla attacked the complex of buildings, one of the structures split apart, and the real Godzilla, called by Anguirus, stood up to his counterpart's challenge. The fight quickly began as the area burst into flames. The monsters thrashed at one another, and after a few blasts from Godzilla's atomic ray, and a smoke stack fall on its chest, Fake Godzilla shed its false skin, revealing the true terror hidden underneath.

History: The massive machine, and ultimate war weapon, the true MechaGodzilla was revealed after the Fake Godzilla disguise was heavily damaged thanks to the real Godzilla. After showing the world just what it really is, MechaGodzilla unloaded its weapon on the monster king. The machine's eye lasers, and Godzilla's atomic breath collided in midair, the resulting explosion damaging MechaGodzilla's circuits, and severely injuring Godzilla, whom sank into the crimson water.
Days later, after kidnapping a famous scientist to help repair the machine, MechaGodzilla was once again functional. As a group of heroes tried to awake the ancient King Caesar to help protect Japan, MechaGodzilla was sent out to destroy the guardian as it slept. The machine walked to slow, and King Caesar was awoken for the first time in centuries. The massive machine was once again on the attack with eye beams, but the furry monster reflected its own attacks back at it. With its energy weapons proving to have limited affect against King Caesar, MechaGodzilla unleashed his missiles, finally delivering damage to the ancient kaiju. As the battle raged between the alien invader and Earth guardian, a familiar creature lurked in the waters near by.
The king of the monsters, Godzilla, was back and now prepared to defeat his mechanical clone. The addition of Godzilla to the opposition, at first, didn't change the situation, for MechaGodzilla simply began to unload all of its weapons on both monsters. The robot seemed to be invincible as the area was littered with explosions, but when MechaGodzilla impaled Godzilla with his finger missiles, Godzilla used his built of energy to regenerate the wounds, and turn himself into a living magnet.
MechaGodzilla was ordered to retreat, but not even his strength could pull away from the magnetic waves the pulled it toward the monster king. The machine dropped to its feet, with Godzilla clutched on its back, holding it tight. King Caesar was soon back in action, ramming the robot's body, adding more damage with every strike. After several rams by King Caesar, Godzilla began to twist the robot's head, and the eyes began to flicker as power wires were snapped and destroyed. MechaGodzilla's head fell limp to the side, dangling by just a few cords, and the entire build of the machine exploded into pieces, sending Godzilla into the ocean depths once more, but the machine was now defeated and it would return sooner than expected.

First Appearance: Terror of MechaGodzilla (1975)

Home World: Third Planet of the Black Hole Type: Alien
History: After the destruction of the first MechaGodzilla, and space invaders immediately began to recollect the pieces and put them back together. In order to make the massive robot a perfect machine, they enlisted the famous Paleontologist Dr. Mafune, his cyborg daughter Katsura, and the doctor's massive dinosaur known as Titanosaurus.
Months went by as MechaGodzilla was upgraded and rebuilt with even more deadlier weapons. The creature's control mechanism was implanted in Katsura, giving it the ultimate form of control. After Titanosaurus was forced to retreat once before, days later, the attackers unleashed the mechanical monster and aquatic dinosaur on the city once more.
Not a building was spared in their rampage. Fires began to blaze and streets were crippled by the onslaught of beams, missiles, and hurricane like winds. As the monsters rampaged, a familiar face entered the city, vowing to defend the planet once more, Godzilla had arrived.
The battle was long and hard as the creatures entered a two on one fight for Earth. The robot's powerful weaponry and Titanosaurus' brute strength showed to be too much for Godzilla alone, and the monster king was buried beneath thousands of tons of dirt and rock.
As Titanosaurus bounced up and down on the mutation's new grave, a helicopter, equipped with a supersonic beam, flew into the area. The beam began to strike Titanosaurus, forcing the dinosaur into a frenzied rage of pain. MechaGodzilla's arm rose, prepared to destroy the machine with his missiles, but the dirt exploded and Godzilla rose from the ground.
The machine unloaded on Godzilla with every weapon in its arsenal. The ground was transformed into burning balls of fire as missiles and beams hit the ground as if meteors, but with Titanosaurus under attack, it gave Godzilla enough time to get near his robotic twin. MechaGodzilla, severely lacking in melee combat, was easily thwarted by Godzilla's strength, and the creature succeeded in tearing its head off once more, but a new surprise faced the tyrant.
MechaGodzilla's 'second' head began to unleash beams of blue energy on the saurian, but the weapon proved ineffective against Godzilla's might. The nuclear behemoth grabbed the robot, hoisted it into the air, and chucked it several hundred meters away. A beam of atomic energy leaped from Godzilla's fanged maw and struck the robot and the ground around it. MechaGodzilla roared its last as its body was reduced to scrap.
