Powers:
- Fire Balls: After charging heat and energy into his chest, Toto can fire a powerful ball of fire from his maw. When it strikes an enemy, they will quickly be engulfed in flames, and eventually blown to pieces, along with most of their surroundings. He can also fire weaker versions of the fire ball that require no charge, but they do much less damage.
- Shell: Like normal turtles, Toto has a hard shell that protects him from attacks and allows him to pull his limbs into.

History: Found on a small island by the young Toru, the newest Gamera’s egg hatched. The tiny reptile, not unlike that of a common turtle, was named Toto by the child, and soon it was being raised by Toru and his friends. Unfortunately, as he grew in size and powers developed, the turtle vanished, only to reappear in the midst of an attack by the blood thirsty Zedus. The heroic monster fought tooth and nail against the hungry fiend, but was severely wounded in the neck by its spear-like tongue. After the beast missed several following shots, Toto grabbed the appendage and held on for the ride. Coming face to face with the sea monster, the turtle unleashed a ball of fire into its face, sending the monster into the sea.
Wounded, Toto was carried off by the self-defense forces only to be freed by Zedus in its attack on Nagoya. The young turtle rose up to fight again, but it wasn’t strong enough to defeat the predatory monster yet. Toru, having given the red jewel that he found Toto’s egg on to his friend Mai, set forth on a journey through the ruined city to get it. Kids across the city handed the glowing object off to another until it fell into Toru’s hands.
Climbing up the building in which Toto had been thrown into, the boy delivered the jewel, bestowing Toto with the power of true flight and powerful fireballs. Falling from the building, Toto’s boosters kicked to life, speeding him into the air as Zedus looked on. The hero rammed the predator off of the roof of the building and the fight was again on the streets of the destroyed city.
Ripping Zedus’ tongue out of his shoulder, Toto then unleashed his powerful fire ball. The attack smashed into the creature’s chest and quickly blew the beast to pieces. Exhausted, Toto was allowed to escape the clutches of the self-defense force, thanks to the children, that viewed him a threat. Flying away, Toto once again brought hope not to just Japan in the face of evil, but also the children that helped save his life.
