History: Creatures from Japan’s past, four of these blood thirsty predators swarmed Japan’s hero, Gamera, in the early 1970’s. Firing away with their sonic cutters, the forest was reduced to a sea of fires as hundreds of civilians, caught in the cross fire, sought shelter. Despite bringing down one of the bat-like kaiju with a fireball, Gamera was unable to contend with the fast moving killers. The three surviving Gyaos landed on his shell and immediately began to rip at his exposed flesh. As death crept up on the shelled hero, the aged Gamera activated his own self-destruction, killing not just himself but all three Gyaos in a massive explosion.
