History: Yet another of the dangerous inhabitants of the volcanic crater which supported a prehistoric ecosystem, the Carnivorous Plant would consume anything it could overpower. Shortly after the group of humans crash landed in the crater, Maggie, the reporter, unwittingly stood near one of the plants. Just as it reached out to grab her, though, she walked out of its reach. The plant would feed eventually, though, and caught a small tarsier that the group had found earlier, which had gotten separated from them during an attack by one of the Giant Monitor Lizards. As time wore on, Maggie wandered near one of the plants again. This time it managed to ensnare her. Luckily for the woman, Carl, a man who had been stranded in the crater for years, heard her cries and beat the plant’s tendrils with his makeshift hammer, forcing it to release her.
