- Energy Shield: When needed, Golgolem can create a circular energy shield that will protect him from projectile attacks.
- Tentacled Mouth: Golgolem’s mouth can launch out of its face attached to a tentacle.
- Phase Crystals: Thanks to the huge crystals on its back, Golgolem can phase in and out of various sub-spaces, giving him the ability to vanish and become a ghost-like creature in which attacks will go straight through. History: A four-legged space beast, Golgolem began to feed on humans in the Japanese countryside. When the Night Raiders discovered its unique signal, they noticed that it was much different than the rest, but still they moved in, only to discover that the beast could phase in and out of any sub-space it desired! Nexus was summoned in action, but he wasn’t completely recovered from the arm wound he sustained from Galberos. After hitting the creature, Golgolem began to retreat and started to phase out of this space. Nexus summoned his Meta-Field, but he was too weak to sustain it and soon both he and Golgolem crashed out of the side of it. Ultraman was defeated and Golgolem vanished just as the Night Raiders began to open fire.

Knowing the beast was heading toward the city, the team hoped to trap the creature in a sub-space trap, destroying its phasing ability. The plan worked and its crystals were destroyed, but the beast was far from defenseless. It lashed out with golden energy bolts and then began to attack a group of humans that had managed to find their way into the battleground. With the humans in the way, the forces changed their plan and went into strike formation.

Before the battle could rage, and as humans were stuck in the crossfire, Ultraman Nexus suddenly appeared, but he was still weakened. The beast’s burning fireballs only added to Nexus’ wounded arm, but as the two fell apart from another, the hero unleashed particle phaser, blowing off its mouth! The monster retreated as Nexus was forced to also leave combat, allowing the monster to advanced to the populated area.

Fearing the worst, the Night Raiders fired on its damaged back. The monster fell to the side in pain, but suddenly its crystals reformed and it vanished, retreating to a different sub-space. As it recuperated from the battles, the Night Raiders developed a new plan and weapon and entered the sub-spaces.

They drew it out again and destroyed its crystals and fired the Mega Cannon Chester, but the beast suddenly created an energy shield, protecting itself from the blast. Then, surprisingly, its crystals suddenly regenerated even faster than before! Nexus was called into action and formed a Meta-Field, but the hero was still too weakened to fight. Just as the two chesters entered the Meta-Field, Ultraman Nexus fell down.

His weakened state couldn’t keep the Meta-Field up at full power and a window appeared, revealing the populated city that Golgolem desired. The creature tried to escape, but the field managed to hold it off until Nexus managed to stand and pull the beast back with an energy rope. As it stood back up, the red and silver giant managed to fire the Cross-Ray Storm. The space beast was destroyed, but it seemed the Nexus’ limits had been reached.
