History: Trained in military fashion, Karas pitted Dr. Gori when he was sentenced to a life in prison. Agreeing with the mad doctor’s ideas of war and interplanetary conquest, Karas freed Gori. For his duty, the intelligent but malice filled ape, named Karas as his right hand man. Together the duo searched the galaxies until by chance, they arrived at Earth. Dr. Gori saw the planet for the beauty it was, and instantly hated the humans for daring to pollute her surface. Wiping out the billons of human lives would bring the good doctor only the greatest of pleasure.
Karas took care of all the dirty work for Dr. Gori on earth. Seeing the scientist’s plans through and through. Unfortunately the military gorilla proved to be incompetent in his ways. After failing Gori he pleaded with the doctor to let him fight Spectreman in Tokyo. The ghostly haired madman gleamed with the idea and sent a kaiju size Karas to battle the tin warrior. In the end Karas proved his failure again. Losing to Spectreman, Gori raged at his helper. Giving the machine hero little time to heal he sent forth Karas and his new beast Kares (another human size gorilla warrior) to battle Spectreman. Together the duo proved to be immensely defiant. Fortunate for Earth, the end battle would see with Spectreman’s victory over the twin apes.
