Powers:
- Poison Gas: Green Monse can secrete a poison gas from the yellow mark in its center. This gas, while not very lethal, can still cause severe damage to the lungs if exposed long enough.
- Smothering: Green Monse can literally smother a foe under its great mass, allowing absorption of the body fluids.
- Stretch: Green Monse can stretch itself out to be extremely fin, this then allows it to go under doors and inside cracks.

History: The monstrous plant known as Green Monse originated on a small island where a group of scientists found it but in a flower form. One of the scientists attempted to make it even larger but the flower fed of the gamma rays and turned into a hideous plant creature. Green Monse soon to feed on the population. Police couldn’t solve the killings and the Science Patrol was brought in to help. They found trails of green goo near the killings and upon investigation, found chlorophyll (something only plants have) in it. While tracking Green Monse, Science Patrol member Arashi is attacked by the creature. His fellow Science Patrol members soon arrive and hit the plant like creature with lasers, causing it to fall into the water.
Green Monse soon returns, but at a gigantic size. Nothing can stop it this time as it crashes through buildings and ignores the Science Patrol’s tiny weapons. Hayata soon transforms himself into the super being known as Ultraman. Ultraman flies in, drop kicking the kaiju and the fight is soon on. Green Monse uses his poison gas on Ultraman and then smothers him. Green Monse gets off and Ultraman rises as his warning light glows. Ultraman then fires the Specium ray at Green Monse, causing the massive plant to fall in cascading flames.
