History: Several years ago, Blitz team owner Steve Toros was scammed into purchasing the Liger Zero, not knowing that the Zoid is uncontrollable to anyone else besides the 'chosen pilot'. The Zoid was left alone and collected dust until Bit Cloud stumbled across the group and found the Liger. The Zoid acted on its own and took Bit for its pilot, eventually causing the hot headed scrap dealer to become a full fledged Zoid pilot and member of the Blitz team. With the Liger's help, the team became a major name in the Zoid fights, attracting competition from such famous teams and pilots like Jack Cisco and Harry Champ.
Dr. Toros soon developed the Liger Zero CAS, or Conversion Armor System, for the Zoid. The three armor systems, the first being the speedy Jager, the second being the melee based, multiple blade equipped Schneider, and the third and final being the extremely powerful Panzer, allowing the Liger to perform against an infinite number of Zoids, from the fastest Zoids like the Lighting Saix, to the Backdraft Group's Elephander.
As the team began to go on a massive winning streak and increase to Rank 1, the Backdraft Organization began to target the team, especially the Liger Zero, believing it to be the legendary Ultimate X. The evil organization led several attacks and developed several Zoids designed specifically to defeat the rare Liger, but not even a swarm of Zabats or the towering Elephander were enough to bring down the Liger Zero, and as time passed, the Royal Cup began to draw near, but a new rival was beginning to surface.
The Berserk Fuhrer made its name known as it interrupted a match between the Blitz team and the Lightning team, and defeated them both with sustaining just one scratch by the Liger. When the Royal Cup began, the Liger Zero and his fellow Zoids blew away the competition until coming across Vega and the Berserk Fuhrer once again. All other Zoids were near helpless against the mighty fury of the second Ultimate X, but the Liger Zero revealed that it too was an Ultimate X as it memorized the Fuhrer's attacks and created its own counterattacks to defend itself and also bring down the mighty opponent.
As the Fuhrer fired its Charged Particle Cannon one more time, the Liger Zero charged forward, gripping the Zoid's throat and sending the powerful beam into space to do no harm. Once ending, the Berserk Fuhrer fell to its side, defeated and damaged and giving the Liger Zero and the Blitz team victory once more. The original Ultimate X was placed in Rank S, and the future for the rare Zoid was clear.
