History: As the ruthless organization known as Umbrella experimented with the highly dangerous T-Virus, a new form of life was created. By exposing the virus directly to living tissue, creatures called Lickers were created. They were quickly entombed within the deepest reaches of the underground Hive lab, but when the Red Queen laid to rest all those within the complex after infection, a group of Umbrella commandos accidentally released the Lickers. A group of them patrolled the underground corridors. As Spence tried to inject the antivirus into his body, one of the Lickers leaped on him from the ceiling. The beast gorged on his tissue, eventually mutating into something much more dangerous. While the other survivors dealt with this new Licker mutation, more crawled around the complex.

Soon, the Hive was shut down and quarantined but Umbrella couldn’t leave well enough alone. They opened the doors, thus bringing the apocalypse to the world! The Lickers escaped into Raccoon City, eventually coming across a small band of survivors headed by Jill Valentine. The group stood no chance against the ruthless monsters, but suddenly Alice came through the gigantic mural windows of the church. She quickly disposed of the beasts with a few rounds, saving their lives.

History: Feeding on Spence, the Licker had been mutated into something else. The fresh DNA coursing through its body made its own change, evolving into a far more efficient predator. While Alice and the others escaped by the underground train, the mutation chased after them. It climbed aboard the train and began to rip through the metal haul, eventually pulling Kaplan out of the transport and killing him. Soon it managed to break through the doors at the rear of the train and wrap its tongue around Alice’s leg. It tried to pull her into its jaws, but she managed to impale its tongue with a pipe. Screaming in pain, the beast was trapped. As chaos broke out in the cargo hold as Rain revived as a zombie, Matt shot her in the head, her body falling against the button. The hatches on the underside of the train opened up, making the creature fall onto the electrified tracks beneath! The tongue quickly tore apart and the mutant’s body was engulfed in fire, killing the mutant licker, but in the battle, Matt was scratched by its claws, thus an even bigger nightmare had yet to form.

History: In an underwater research facility constructed by the Umbrella corporation, the company continued to experiment with the T-Virus. One of their newest creations, a giant-sized version of the Licker, proved to be extremely efficient. When a team of commandos ventured into the complex in order to rescue Ada Wong and Alice, the Red Queen dispatched the vicious monster. Running amok, the monster killed one of the team before Alice arrived and slammed into it with a vehicle, knocking it through a nearby store within the test area of Moscow.

As she and the others escaped and began to be chased down by Las Plagas Undead on motorcycles and trucks, the beast returned. It pushed aside the trucks and crushed the undead underfoot in order to reach its quarry. In order to escape, the car sped into the subways with the monster in pursuit. The chaos caused the support columns to break, resulting in a collapse that buried the brute under tons of rubble. Once again its victims escaped, but the creature didn’t die.

Emerging from the rubble, it trailed them to the submarine docks of the facility and attacked. It snatched up a young girl that had adopted Alice as her mother. Following, Alice took the fight to the creature and shot it numerous times in the head. She rescued the girl, but the beast returned once more. Within the heart of the cloning area, it appeared! The pair managed to escape as Alice launched a harpoon into the ceiling and repelled them safety as she dropped a belt of grenades. The explosives detonated just as the beast landed, destroying it within an expanding explosion.
