- Darkness Beam: Armored Darkness can launch a devastating beam of dark energy from the tip of his trident spear. This beam has enough firepower to completely destroy a mountain in a single hit.
- Twin Trident Spear: Armored Darkness is equipped with a gigantic, double sided trident spear. He can use this spear with great skill and also increase its length at rapid speed, allowing him to strike objects normally out of its reach.
- Sword: Should Armored Darkness’ spear be lost, he is also equipped with a large sword that’s sharp enough to penetrate the toughest of material.
- Light Nullification: If an opponent attacks Armored Darkness with a light-based attack, he can nullify it, making the attack dissipate into the air.
- Reform: If destroyed, Armored Darkness is capable of reforming his entire body, without any amount of previous damage, in just seconds.
- Imprison: Once weakening an opponent, Armored Darkness can imprison them in his body where they will be trapped for an eternity.
Weaknesses: If an imprisoned opponent within Armored Darkness is strong enough, they can momentarily weaken him by focusing their strength and mind.

History: The destruction of the dark emperor Empera was a gigantic victory for the Earth, but the war was only the beginning. While he was destroyed and gone for good, his creation and the world of darkness wasn’t. The same ball of fire in which Empera arrived in reappeared and began a collision course with the Earth! In order to stop it, Ultraman Hikari entered the sphere and was transported to the realm it housed inside. A barren wasteland, it had only one occupant inside: Armored Darkness.
The living armor challenged the blue warrior and easily overcame him, soon imprisoning his mind and body within his! Now unopposed, the sphere continued on its course with Earth. Monsters all around Japan began to awaken, forcing Crew GUYS to launch a new counterattack as Ryuu and new member Halusaki traveled into the sphere.
The Gun Winger was quickly attacked by Armored Darkness, the entity’s massive trident forcing them to crash land! As Halusaki escaped, the craft was destroyed by the huge spear just moments before Ultraman Mebius arrived on the scene! The now veteran warrior of the Ultras challenged the being, but his attacks were quickly dissipated by Armored Darkness.
The hero had no way of challenging the titan until Ultraman Hikari, trapped inside of it, spoke out. Revealing the being had a hidden spare sword, this allowed Mebius to grab the weapon and quickly strike, cutting a large gash in its head. The wound, combined with the focused strength of Hikari, forced the goliath to freeze up like a statue.
In the midst of the attack, Ryuu was saved by the Ultraman King whom was watching the events unfold, curious to how this would all play out. Hikari continued to communicate with Mirai and the members of Crew GUYS as they entered the falling sphere after destroying the rampaging monsters in Japan. Soon Armored Darkness began to move once more, but the forces of good now had a plan!
Mirai transformed into Ultraman Mebius yet again and held the giant steady as the Gun Winger rapidly flew in. Armored Darkness retaliated, striking the ship with his spear and seemingly destroying it, but through the smoke and fire, the smaller craft inside continued to fall! Ryuu ejected from his seat, flying directly toward the hole in its head. Knowing what was about to happen, the giant began to spin its twin-sided spear, but Hikari again made its body freeze up.
On target, Ryuu flew into the gapping wound and his body again merged with that of Ultraman Hikari’s. The hero was re-powered and burst through its body, completely destroying Armored Darkness and reuniting with Mebius. Their victory was cut short after just a few seconds for the pieces of Armored Darkness began to reform, bringing it back to life good as new.
Knowing their own strength wouldn’t be enough, Hikari and Mebius joined hands and together they merged, forming Phoenix Mode Mebius for the second time. The multi-colored hero battled the titan, easily overwhelming it with superior fighting skills. Again grabbing its spare sword, Mebius leaped into the air and came down with a slash, cutting the creature from skull to groin! Unable to move or fight back, Armored Darkness’ body was completely obliterated by the Mebium-Knight Beam!
Mebius and GUYS returned to Japan as Hikari, still inside the fiery sphere, carried it out to space to where it could never threaten the lives of humanity again.
