When Jason reached the Golden Fleece, the Hydra emerged to attack him. In the serpent’s twin tails, Acastus had been captured while trying to steal the fleece for himself. Killing the traitor, the Hydra battled Jason. The hero avoided its deadly, snapping jaws but was soon caught by its powerful tails. The muscular limbs threatened to crush the warrior, but he managed to escape, slashing at the scaly creature with his blade. As the Hydra closed in again, he thrust his sharp sword into its chest, sending the seven-headed beast to its grave! While the vicious Hydra was defeated, King Aeëtes was far from finished with it. Collecting the serpent’s teeth, he vowed revenge on those that now stole the Golden Fleece.

Enslaved by the necromancer, the Skeleton Warriors rose from the soil and attacked Jason and the Argonauts! The assassins charged with swords and shields clanging. Two of the brave warriors were slain by the skeletons, leaving only Jason to deal with the undead soldiers. His back toward a cliff, Jason turned and dove into the sea below. Chasing after, the villainous skeletons fell from the cliff and into the water. Unable to swim, the skeletal warriors sunk to their doom.
