History: In ancient China, a power hungry emperor conquered the kingdoms of China and formed a mighty empire. He ordered his conquered enemies be buried underneath the Great Wall while he began to search for a means of immortality. He located a sorceress, Zi Yuan, but the General he had dispatched fell in love with her. When she cast a spell on him, he had General Ming torn apart and stabbed her with a blade, but she had already foreseen these events. His body began to flow with clay and soon he, and his army, was turned into statues!
Rick O’Connell’s son Alex discovered the emperor’s tomb and his vast army while his parents brought the eye of Shangri-La back to its rightful owners of the Chinese people. Unfortunately, a rogue military faction sought to use the eye to resurrect the emperor in order to return China to its former glory and establish order. In the midst of a struggle, the dragon emperor was returned to life! On a chariot driven by bronze horses, the emperor rode through the streets with the O’Connells in pursuit.
The emperor and General Yang escaped and began to head directly toward a Himalayan stupa where the eye could reveal the location of Shangri-La, the only place where Han could lift his curse and become immortal. The O’Connells and Lin, the two-thousand year old daughter of Zi Yuan, proved a nuisance, summoning a group of Yetis to combat Han’s soldiers. Joining the fight himself, he summoned icicles from the ground, nearly impaling the heroes, and scaring off the Yetis. Placing the eye on top the structure, the undead leader learned the location of Shangri-La while mortally wounding Rick.
Emperor Han soon reached Shangri-La and entered the fabled waters, lifting his curse and giving him immortality. Quickly transforming into a gigantic, three-headed dragon, Han kidnapped Lin and took to the air, taking her back to his tomb to raise his army. As he awoken his grand forces, the O’Connells arrived to stop him while Zi Yuan sacrificed both hers and Lin’s immortality to awaken all of Han’s conquered enemies underneath the Great Wall.
After fighting and killing Zi Yuan, Emperor Han transformed into an ogre and smashed his way through lines of his undead enemies before reaching a labyrinth underneath the Great Wall. He began to use his powers over the elements to draw the soldiers back into their graves, but Rick and Alex interfered. They attempted to drive Zi Yuan’s blessed dagger through his heart, but the warrior proved too strong. The dagger was broken in half in the fight, but the pair each took each half. Fighting him one-on-one, Rick managed to gain the upper hand and drove the dagger’s hilt into his chest! At the same time, Alex managed to get behind him and drive the point into his back, each piece simultaneously reaching the heart! The great Emperor Han collapsed, his insides turning to fire and bubbling lava. As the O’Connells walked away, the Emperor’s body exploded and his army outside turned to dust.
