History: After leaving the charred corpse of Gezora, the alien amoeba infested the body of one of the island's crabs. The result was a massive, pincer-equipped monster that also shared the same goals in destroying the island, followed by humanity itself! The monster emerged the same night as Gezora's death, but the populace was ready for it. Despite heavy gunfire and dynamite, Ganimes proved much stronger than Gezora and waded into the village, chasing a young man and woman before it fell off a cliff. Seeing his opportunity, Kudo fired a round of his rifle into the gasoline stored at the base of the cliff. The dozens of canisters of gasoline exploded, completely destroying the mutant crab.
After the death of Ganimes, the alien virus infested another crab, a turtle, and a young man named Makoto Obata. Now knowing that was causing the strange mutations, the villagers went on a forage to find the remaining bats of the island. As the infested Obata tried to kill the bats, a second Ganimes rose from the water's depths!
Ganimes and Kamoebas descended upon the villagers, but Obata managed to regain control of himself for just a few moments and removed the blockade the kept the bats inside with the fire he caused. The bats flew out of the cave system and into the air, their radar disorienting Ganimes and Kamoebas, confusing both into thinking each other was the enemy.
Kamoebas and Ganimes entered combat seconds later, the massive mutations snapping and ripping at one another's hide. Kamoebas' hard shell protected him from most of Ganimes' strikes, and the massive turtle's extending neck was caught by Ganimes' claw. As each struggled, Kamoebas began to drag the giant crustacean up the side of the island's steep volcano. The turtle managed to flip the crab onto its back and latch onto its claw with its vice-like jaws, but gravity was pulling both monsters into the mouth of the volcano! With neither able to escape, the two behemoths plummeted into the fiery pits of the volcano, with Obata following behind soon after, saving the world from this deadly parasite.
