Titan

Length: Not Available
Mass: Not Available
Swimming Speed: Moderate
Powers:
- Lightning Bolt: When fully charged with electricity, the Titan can launch a lightning-like bolt of thousands of volts from its jaws. While not enough to kill a man, it can short out electronics and automobiles.
- Electrical Bite: When biting victims, the Titan can surge tremendous amounts of electricity through its jaws.
- Stretching Jaws: Like a snake, the Titan’s jaws can unlatch to tremendous lengths to swallow prey much larger than it is.
- Long Tongue: The Titan’s tongue is extremely long and flexible, allowing it to be used as if a tentacle.
- Static Shield: The Titan can form a shield of static electricity that can block physical attacks, but this can only be done between its jaws.
- Electric Absorption: The Titan is capable of absorbing any form of electricity, making it virtually impervious to it as well.
Weaknesses: If its source of power is cut, the Titan will become nearly powerless.
First Appearance: The Big O: Electric City (1999)
Human Kills: None
Fight Record: Wins: 0, Losses: 1, Ties: 0
Home World: Earth
Origin: Japan
Type: Man-Made
History: Created within an isolated lab in the countryside outside of Paradigm City, the Titan was made to be the ultimate form of power for the city state. However, it grew too big to be housed. It broke through its tank and entered the nearby lake where it began to feed on electricity being generated by the dam. In order to stop it, the turbines were cut off. However, when the loss of power affected the city, Roger Smith was hired to investigate. His investigation led to the beast’s creation, but when the turbines were abruptly turned back on, the Titan rose from the depths!
With electricity surging through its body as it absorbed the raw power, Roger summoned Big O. The black Megadeus was quick to arrive, but the Titan was unlike anything he had ever faced. It threatened to devour the heroic machine whole while virtually electrocuting the negotiator inside. However, the monster’s own creator once again turned off the turbines. Its source of power cut off, the Titan was weakened. Big O broke free of its gapping maw and fired the Chrome Buster, obliterating the head and most of its eel-like body.
